Review costs before expanding
Open the finance breakdown and compare income with costs, especially wages and loans. If losses continue, pause unfocused expansion and excess hiring while keeping admissions, maintenance and donation collection covered.
Cash in the bank is not the same thing as operating profit. Borrowing does not create profit.
Improve the income you already have
- Check whether exhibits can receive donations and whether Donation Stands cover them.
- Empty full boxes and make sure staff can collect the money.
- Improve exhibit decoration and meet each exhibit’s Buzz Bonus requirements.
- Read Gift Shop and refreshment price feedback. Adjust gradually and observe acceptance.
- Compare a Sponsorship’s payment with its negative conditions and the effect on guests.
Add services when the museum can sustain them
Once visitor numbers and basic needs are stable, add a compact tour or expand useful services. A Large Donation Stand can reduce frequent emptying, but it is not an unconditional immediate return on investment.
Retail, catering, training and marketing bring construction, staffing or operating costs. When money is very tight, avoid depending on expensive marketing or long expeditions solely in the hope of a payoff.
These priorities do not require Arty-Facts or another paid DLC. They are not a verified maximum-monthly-income strategy.
