Give each employee a main job
Choose the job before choosing qualifications. Use these role-based directions rather than applying one skill set to every employee:
| Main role | Suggested qualification |
|---|---|
| Admissions Assistant | Accomplished Admission |
| Retail or refreshments | Customer Service |
| Analysis Expert | Analysis |
| Exhibit restoration | Rapid Restoration |
| Tour guide | Tour Guidelines |
| Camera monitoring, donation collection, pursuit or Workshop work | The corresponding job qualification or useful movement ability |
Training and assignment must agree
After training, check Job Assignment and disable unrelated work where appropriate. Working areas can help keep employees near their jobs. A trained admissions specialist can still leave the desk for another permitted task if you never adjust assignments.
The checked sources describe a normal limit of five qualification slots, with skills trainable through levels. Inspect the employee’s existing qualifications before copying a five-slot plan.
Training removes someone from work for a time and changes pay expectations. Train staff in batches so that essential services stay staffed.
Build expedition teams around the POI
Choose expedition qualifications for the site’s actual events, rather than solely for museum productivity. A POI may need Survival Skills, Survey Skills, Pilot Wings or an apparently unrelated qualification such as Happy Thoughts.
Read the stated requirement first, then decide whether to keep a dedicated field team. No single five-skill loadout has been established as best for every map.
